It's the coffee grounds, pumice and poppy seeds in these soaps which naturally exfoliate as you rub them over your skin.
Why exfoliate?
Regular gentle exfoliation will remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Without exfoliation, these dead cells can build up and form a layer on the skin which looks and feels rough and dry. Getting rid of this layer will unclog your pores, reveal the new cells underneath and leave your skin feeling fresh and healthy. It also means that your moisturiser, oil or body butter can penetrate your skin better and be more effective.
Not suitable for sensitive or broken skin or for facial exfoliation as they can be too rough.
For facial exfoliation, we suggest using a natural cotton muslin cloth instead.
External use only. Avoid eye area and mucous membranes. We recommend a patch test before use. If irritation occurs, please discontinue use.
