The Bristles are made of Nylon-4 or Polyamide 610. These are both types of plastic. The company recently switched to Polyamide 610, which is made from 60% Castor Bean oil but we still have both types in stock. Neither of them can be recycled so when your toothbrush has reached the end of its life, break off the head or pull out the bristles with pliers and dispose of in the normal household waste.
The bamboo handle can be composted, put in the garden waste bin - or used in the garden as a plant marker!
