A strong, vibrant scent and a gorgeous colour! Use this in your morning shower and you'll feel ready for whatever the day brings!
The distinctive colour of our Lavender & Rosemary soap comes from the dried root of the Alkanet plant which is steeped in extra virgin Olive Oil before the soapmaking process begins. Not only does it create this gorgeous deep purple/ grey colour, Alkanet root is also reputed to be a great anti-inflammatory. This soap is suitable for skin which is itchy or irritated or prone to conditions such as eczema.

Available naked or wrapped in handmade coloured paper with a recycled white label.
Appearance of the soap / wrapping may differ from the photos due to the natural ingredients and availability of paper.
Naked soap will be wrapped in some paper. Your order will arrive in re-used, plastic free packaging. We use paper tape to fasten the parcel but there may sometimes be some plastic sticky tape on the box from its previous life.
This soap is fully biodegradable and the packaging can be composted / recycled. If you are wondering what to do with those pesky little bits of soap that are always left when you've nearly finished the soap, how about collecting them in a little pot or bag and then using them in a a soap saver bag in the shower instead of a sponge?
External use only. Avoid eye area and mucous membranes. We recommend a patch test before use. If irritation occurs, please discontinue use.

Relaxing smell of lavender and the clean smell of rosemary makes this our go to soap at the bathroom basin. Lathers beautifully and is long lasting. Like all the soaps from Black Cat Soaphouse it never goes all squishy.

In a small cloakroom, you can really enjoy the Rosemary/Lavender fragrance. Love it - and the colour of this soap. Our gusets comment on how lovely it is too - and I always send them here with lots of recommendations. Basically, you can't go wrong with any of the Black Cat Soaphouse products! Well, I'll miss those with patchouli because I simply don't like that smell - but I do love the hemp seed oil, if only it had a non-patchouli version (hint, hint lol).

This is so good for my poor paws. Along with the increased handwashing because of the virus, have developed a latex allergy from my washing up gloves, and this soap has really helped to soothe the soreness and rash. Together with some calamine, this lavender and rosemary has done wonders. Wonderful!
